"Mutual Support, Caring Hong Kong" Chinese Calligraphy Competitio

 

Co-organized by our school and hosted by the Aberdeen Kai-fong Welfare Association, the final round of the "Mutual Support, Caring Hong Kong" Chinese Calligraphy Competition was successfully held on March 22. The competition aimed to promote the spirit of mutual support and care, foster a loving Hong Kong and a happy community, enhance participants' interest in Chinese calligraphy, deepen their understanding of the art form, and encourage exchange while elevating their appreciation of calligraphy.

 

The competition was followed by an award ceremony. Before presenting the awards, welcoming remarks were delivered by Ms. Yeung Chui Chun, MH ( Honorary Life President of Aberdeen Kai-fong Welfare Association), followed by a speech from our Principal, Ms. Chan Ying Ying. Other officiating guests included Ms. Chan Tsz Lam (Assistant District Officer, Southern District), Mr. Lee Kam Yin, MH (Chairman of Hong Kong Lan Ting Calligraphy Society), Mr. Ma Yun Hein (Vice President of Kap Tsz Calligraphy Society), Mr. Wai King Man (Chairman of Hong Kong Culture and Art Exchange Association), Mr. Tse Kwok Sun (Art Director of Hong Kong Culture and Art Promotion Association), veteran calligrapher Ms. Cheng Sau Ha, and Mr. William Cheung (Director of Aberdeen Kai-fong Welfare Association).

 

The event concluded successfully. We extend our gratitude to the Aberdeen Kai-fong Welfare Association for their thoughtful arrangements, and to all guests, judges, and participants for their dedication. We look forward to continuing our collaboration with all sectors to promote Chinese cultural exchange and build a caring community.
