Recap: Symposium on "Sitting in Stillness, Clarifying the Heart" — Chan Pak-sha and Modern Education

Our school recently co-organized a successful symposium with Hong Kong Shue Yan University and the Tin Ka Ping Teaching and Research Centre, celebrating the educational legacy of Ming scholar Chan Pak-sha. The event began with an opening address by Legislative Council Member Mr. Dennis Leung Tsz Wing. This was followed by academic presentations from Professor Chow Kai Wing of New Asia Institute of Advanced Chinese Studies, as well as Principals Wong Pui Hua and Ng Kim Hoi from Jiangmen's Chan Pak-sha Primary and Secondary Schools, who shared practical applications of Chan's educational philosophy.

Our teachers demonstrated how Chan's ideas are integrated into the Chinese Language curriculum, while the History Department announced upcoming inter-school competitions dedicated to promoting Lingnan culture. The symposium concluded with expressions of gratitude to all participants and a reaffirmed commitment to continued collaboration in advancing Chan Pak-sha's educational spirit.
